The Human Performance in Healthcare Lab is committed to advancing the science of simulation in medicine, surgery, nursing and allied health professions. Through research derived metric evidence, HPH scientists provide turnkey, data-driven solutions for training acquisition, maintenance of competencies, adjunctive neuroplastic support systems, high stakes performance assessment, and systems-based evaluation.
HPH division integrates novel sensing and advanced manufacturing technologies while adding data processing power to model human performance, create on-demand performance adjuncts, and develop high-stakes performance assessment.
HPH Faculty are dedicated to creating educational foundations and graduate degree programs to develop interdisciplinary simulation scientists focused on healthcare applications.
