More than 140 simulation-related government, academic and corporate entities have facilities in the Central Florida high-tech corridor that follows Interstate 4 across the state from Daytona Beach to Orlando to Tampa Bay.
The Institute is located in the University of Central Florida (UCF) Partnership II and III buildings in the Central Florida Research Park adjacent the UCF's main campus. Research Park is a hub of modeling, simulation and training research and acquisition. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAVAIR TSD) and U.S. Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation are within walking distance. Partnership III is also home to U.S. Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems and elements of the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).
