Institute for Simulation and Training (IST) receives external research funding via a variety of funding mechanisms including Contracts, Grants and Cooperative Agreements.
Some of the funding mechanisms currently available include:
- Various Cooperative Agreements with U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Soldier Center.
- Army Research Organization (ARO) Scientific Services Program (SSP) managed by Edmond Scientific Company (Prime).
- Defense Systems Technical Area Tasks (DS TAT) - $3B IDIQ type contract issued by Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). UCF is a subcontractor to AECOM (Prime).
- Homeland Defense and Security Technical Area Tasks (HD TAT) - $900M IDIQ type contract issued by Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). UCF is a subcontractor to AECOM (Prime).
- Cybersecurity and Information Technical Area Tasks (CS TAT) - $5B IDIQ type contract issued by Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC). UCF is a subcontractor to GTRI (Prime).
- SOCOM Wide Mission Support (SWMS) IDIQ contract. UCF is a subcontractor to CACI (Prime).
- General Services Administration (GSA) – UCF is on the Professional Engineering Schedule (871) Contract# GS-00F-413GA
