UCF ARCC 10 Year Anniversary

A couple months back, ARCC had their anniversary, celebrating ten years of research high-performance computing at UCF. On April 7th, 2008, ARCC’s main computational cluster, Stokes went online for the first time. Over the years there has been tremendous growth in capabilities in numbers of users performing computational research with it.

The following people that attended are listed:

Paul Wiegand, UCF Advanced Research Computing Center, Brian Goldiez, UCF Institute for Simulation & Training Sergio Tafur, Naval Research Laboratory’s Center for Computational Science Stephen Medeiros, UCF College of Engineering & Computer Science

Randy Shumaker, UCF Institute for Simulation & Training Glenn Martin, UCF Advanced Research Computing Center Ribbon cutting for Newton, UCF’s new GPU cluster.
