As a principle scientist for the PD3D lab, Christine evaluates early prototypes. Her area of specialty is in human factors and usability. She is an Assistant Professor and mentor to first and second-year medical students with UCF College of Medicine's Focused Inquiry Research Experience and Graduate Faculty Scholar in the College of Graduate Studies. Previously, she worked as a Science and Technology Manager with the Army Research Laboratory-Human Research and Engineering Directorate from 2008-2015 in medical simulation research and development, coordinating with military medical facilities and creating training modalities that address gaps in operational readiness. Additionally, she helped develop and transition multiple research training technologies to military programs of record and authored numerous papers and presentations.
