Position Type: Part-Time, In-Person (Up to 20 hours per week); Pay: $15 per hour.
Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated undergraduate student with a background in psychology to join our dynamic research team. The research assistant will play a crucial role in supporting ongoing projects related to (e.g., cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, etc.), conducting literature reviews, data collection, and other research activities under the guidance of faculty and senior researchers. Because of the project’s requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in designing and implementing research protocols, including participant recruitment and testing.
· Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings to inform research directions.
· Collect, organize, and input data with precision and attention to detail.
· Utilize statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python) for data analysis as needed.
· Aid in preparing presentations, reports, and publications for research dissemination.
· Attend lab meetings and contribute to collaborative discussions.
Qualifications:
· Current enrollment in an undergraduate psychology program (sophomore or junior year preferred).
· Foundational understanding of research methods and personality theories.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of statistical tools is a plus.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a research environment.
