Responsible for the development and evaluation of mechanical and electrical systems, products, and components through the use of research and extensive knowledge of engineering, electronics, and mechanics. Also responsible for designing test parameters to confirm system and/or component capabilities and overall product quality; as well as preparing and delivering product analysis reports in a timely manner. Designs, develops and manages new technology systems, ensuring that all deliverables work efficiently and are user-friendly to meet customers’ needs. Utilizes critical thinking skills to diagnose, analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software accordingly; independently learns and works with new technologies consistently. Contributes to a collaborative team effort, accomplishing tasks as needed individually, as well as in a group. d maintain relationships across the university and with sponsors to foster that very idea.
